We recently headed to Moscow for a whole weekend of musical goodness with The British Council as part to their Year Of Music 2019. As well as lots of live music and DJ sets, a record fair on Sunday provided ample opportunity for digging.

Never one to miss an opportunity, Gilles was straight in the crates and this mix represents the best of his finds. From the folk music of Georgia to a Russian cover of Fela Kuti’s Zombie this mix demonstrates the diversity of musical styles created throughout the former USSR.
