Gilles Peterson presents a show based in the iconic Brownswood Basement.

This week Gilles invited the legendary Don Was to the basement. Over two hours, Don selects the most significant tunes of his career, alongside some of the latest exclusive Blue Note releases.

Don Was

First emerging as one-half of the satiric R&B duo Was (Not Was), Don Was later rose to become one of the most prolific and sought-after producers in contemporary music.

In January 2012, he was appointed president of the legendary jazz record label, Blue Note Records.
