Famoudou Don Moye (Art Ensemble of Chicago)
Legendary percussionist and drummer Famoudou Don Moye has been a foundational influence on the free jazz scene since he first started playing in the 1960s. He made his name as part of the avant-garde group, Art Ensemble of Chicago, where his mastery of African and Caribbean instruments and rhythms found its full expression.
Jack de Marseille
Jack de Marseille (né Jacques Garrotta) is an influential house and techno DJ originating from Marseille. Since contributing to the emergence of the French electronic scene in the 1980s, Jack has produced for a wide range of artists, collaborated with Worldwide FM resident Laurent Garnier and played sets from Berghain to Pacha and everywhere in between.
Déni-Shain
Déni-Shain first dived into the crates on a 15 year musical adventure through the West coast of Africa, Mexico, Spain, Portugal and France. Since then, he has worked with the label Analog Africa, opened a club in Mexico and toured through Europe, South America and West Africa.
Pé Pé
Pé Pé (Pacific Princess) is a genre-hopping record spinner, digging deep into the vinyl wonders she surrounds herself with in order to create expansive, thoughtful mixes.
Siska
Having released her first EP in spring 2017, Siska‘s music is a downtempo ride loaded with 90’s sounds from Bristol, a daring variation of future soul. A child of the internet generation, her first music video Unconditional Rebel’ has already been viewed more than three million times.
Teddy G
Teddy G co-founder of Disques Rotax, founder of Jazz-up records and owner of record shop Galette Records in Marseille, France. A DJ since the end of the ’80s, Teddy is part of the duo Phono-Mundial, a project oriented in all extra occidental good music grooves.
Stéphane Galland
“Music is a sharing”, Stéphane likes to say. Stéphane Galland AKA M.OAT has been the music programmer of Radio Grenouille in Marseille for more than ten years. He’s now an independent journalist, DJ, programmer and advisor, operating from Le Coton Club, the name of one of his radio show where he takes listeners on regular trips on the Black Atlantic musical continent.
