Monthly show from Kyoto, the Japan’s original capital city, presented by Shuya Okino, music tastemaker and member of Kyoto Jazz Massive. This broadcast showcases the sensibility and energy of Kyoto city with cohost Sara Aiko and DJ Masaki Tamura.

For this show the Kyoto crew also welcome cult Japanese electronic DJs Kazuhiro Inoue and Naoki Yoda.

Kazuhiro Inoue

Kazuhiro Inoue is a DJ in his local Kansai, gaining international recognition. He is digging his own groove from jazz, soul, world music, progressive rock noise and beyond with a focus on live sound.

Naoki Yoda

Naoki Yoda plays tech house and break beat influenced by the crossover sounds of the 00s, as well as jazzy tracks typified by Moodymann. He gained much of his current expertise as a buyer at Japonica music, an iconic record shop in Japan.

Shuya Okino

Shuya Okino is a Japanese DJ, songwriter, author and the producer of the popular music venue The Room in Shibuya, Tokyo.

Masaki Tamura

Masaki Tamura started DJing in 2003 and quickly became known for selecting both traditional and modern jazz music. He has also held various iconic events in Kyoto, including the crossover event Do it JAZZ!.
