Monthly show from Kyoto, Japan’s original capital city, presented by Shuya Okino, music tastemaker and member of Kyoto Jazz Massive.

Shuya will be joined by Yusuke Nakanishi and Lucille Reyboz of KYOTOGRAPHIE.  

KYOTOGRAPHIE

Lucille Reyboz’s career in photography started in Africa where she grew
up. In 1999 she came to Japan to participate in the Opera ‘ Life ‘ by Ryuichi
Sakamoto. As a photographer she worked on record jackets for the jazz labels Blue Note Records and Verve Records. She has always been fascinated by Japan and Japanese culture such as Shinto, and is currently living in Japan. Lucille started the international photo exhibition, KYOTOGRAPHIE from
2013 with Yusuke Nakanishi.

Yusuke Nakanishi is a lighting artist. His work is influenced by his
different cultural experiences and travels all over the world. He has
exhibited in Tokyo and Paris. In 2013 he started the international photo exhibition, KYOTOGRAPHIE with Lucille Reyboz.

Masaki Tamura

Masaki Tamura started DJing in 2003 and quickly became known for selecting both traditional and modern jazz music. He has also held various iconic events in Kyoto, including the crossover event Do it JAZZ!.

Shuya Okino

Shuya Okino is a Japanese DJ, songwriter, author and the producer and one half of the founding member of Kyoto Jazz Massive. He runs the popular music venue The Room in Shibuya, Tokyo.
