10.11.20QC Radio is a weekly look at the creativity flowing through the City of Chicago. We’ll hear from Chicago-based musicians, DJs, record stores, journalists, labels and parties. This season is curated by broadcaster, event producer and member of the International Anthem family, King Hippo.
This week, they’re kicking off QC Radio with an unreleased beat-tape by Makaya McCraven which was made using the Japanese-born RAWS concept – a concept similar to his own method of working. We’ll also enjoy a deep selection of records from Hesperian Sound Division label boss and Gramaphone Records family member, Leja Hazer.
