Tune in to this week’s show to hear from musician Quin Kirchner, who released an album called ‘The Shadows and The Light’ which is appearing on many year-end lists. He shares some of his favourite music coming out of Chicago right now along with excerpts from sessions that he recorded at some of Chicago’s best venues with players such as Ben LaMar Gay, Junius Paul, Matthew Lux, Dustin Laurenzi and more.
Jaytoo and Shon Dervis are two DJs who have been staples in the city for decades, together they are known as Big Fellas. They spin two sets each – only 7”s.
