Kate Hutchinson with Malphino

Monthly show from Kate Hutchinson, Guardian music and culture journalist, broadcaster and DJ from London. She is also the former Clubbing Editor at Time Out and is still waiting impatiently for the fidget-house revival.

This month, London cumbia ensemble Malphino join Kate in the Brownswood Basement for a live session. The band’s debut album Visit Malphino is out on 4 May, after they support Orchestra Baobab at the Jazz Cafe for La Linea Festival.
