Weekly show presenting four hours of the best underground and global selections, this week hosted by presenter, writer and DJ Erica McKoy.

Erica is joined by illustrator McKay Felt, musician Kwaku Asante, producer and visual artist Komikamo, rapper Awate, poetical musician Amy Leon and beat maker S. Fidelity.

Komikamo

Komikamo is a London-based music producer and visual artist whose vibrant style blends electronic hip-hop with jazz and rock-inspired instrumentation. Having made his first solid venture into music in 2016 with his EP Noise, he looks to continue bridging the gap between his music and art inspirations this year.

Kwaku Asante

Kwaku Asante’s music, influenced by the timbres of gospel and soul, takes inspiration from characters such as Fred Hammond, D’Angelo and Robin Thicke. Kwaku describes his sound as a blend of jazz, soul and hip hop, and he regularly works with the likes of Mom Tudie, Jay Ez and Tom Misch.

McKay Felt

McKay Felt is a graduate from Camberwell College of Arts and a freelance illustrator, who has worked with Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Stones Throw Records (Knxwledge), Little Simz and others.

Awate

Awate, named as one of the seven most inspiring people in London by the Evening Standard, has written for the Guardian, toured with Lowkey and has supported the likes of Jay Electronica, Big Daddy Kane and Yasiin Bey (Mos Def). Rapper and activist, the Camden native has just released a long-awaited debut LP, Happiness.

Amy Leon

Brooklyn based Amy Leon, is a musician, poet and member of the Nuyorican Slam Team. With a fusion of poetry and music, she powerfully transpires performances on social inequalities and celebrating love, race and femininity. Most recently, Leon has released her debut album Something Melancholy and two collections of poetry.

S. Fidelity

S. Fidelity is a Berlin based musician and beat maker. With his debut LP A Safe Place to be Naked on Jakarta Records, the Swiss born producer has lead his unique and driving sound to the London scene with lots of exciting forthcoming collaborations.
