Zel Zele co-founder and Turkish crate digger Debora Ipekel shares curious grooves from around the world.

Istanbul based musician Umut Çağlar is the co-founder of Konstrukt and Karkhana. He’s usually referred as a guitar player but also performs with keyboards, woodwind, percussion and various string instruments. At an early age, he started listening to avant-garde music and played the guitar until the end of 90s, when his interest to electronic music led him to DJ in local clubs and perform as an electronic music artist under the moniker P.O.P. He formed Konstrukt in 2008, bringing free jazz, outer frequencies and cosmic chaos together, recording with names like Peter Brötzmann, Joe McPhee, William Parker, Akira Sakata, Marshall Allen, Evan Parker, Okay Temiz and more! Umut formed Karkhana in 2014, combining innovative players from Beirut, Cairo and Istanbul. He has also recorded a solo album and two duet albums with Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth) and Graham Massey (808 State).

He takes over the second part of the show playing records accompanied by his X-911 (Korg) analogue synth.
