Monthly show from Brazilian singer, songwriter, producer and actress Thalma de Freitas highlighting the multi-cultural diversity of Brasil in Los Angeles – live from Red Gate Recorders.

This third edition of DiscoCanto explores the beats and jams of Northeastern Brazil to celebrate the Festa Junina season.

Musical director, guitarist, and producer Marcel Camargo welcomes acclaimed photographer, record collector, DJ and director Brian ‘B+’ Cross for a DJ set around some of his rare findings from Recife to Caruaru, and converses with Beto González, artistic director of the Samba Society.
