The Nelly Boum Show: RED PHONE

28.02.21

Tune in for the Nelly Boum Show presented by award winning director and experience designer Nelly Ben Hayoun.

This month we discuss all things with ‘RED PHONES’ and 911 in it!

While we investigate the information flow from sender to receiver, we connect with the emergency line on this most unique Nelly Boum Show where you can all take a seat in mission control. Please avoid distractions and stay focused.

Did you know, the world record phone call was 46 hours, 12 minutes, 52 seconds, and 228 milliseconds? The champions name is Eric R. Brewster.

But also, did you know that the first written communication was in the form of marks and symbols – recorded more than 9,000 years ago? Or that- today, there are over 6,000 languages spoken in the world? where in Papua New Guinea alone- there are over 800 languages are spoken!

Believe it or not- but on average and by year, around 240 million 911 calls are made in the U.S alone… That averages out to over 600,000 calls per day….

This month, join us and meet the most communicative humans on this planet. Get answers and facts straight from the mouths of the comms experts.
