Future Nostalgia with Atiyyah Khan

24.11.20

Tune in for Future Nostalgia with Johannesburg-hailing music journalist, DJ and researcher Atiyyah Khan, who digs out gems, past and present. The show is an extension and representation of the music collective she co-founded in Cape Town called Future Nostalgia, which has been hosting listening sessions in the city for the past seven years.

For the first show, Atiyyah takes us on a sonic journey of her favourite South African jazz spanning the period between 1930 – 2020. She also features an exclusive interview with special guest saxophonist Sisonke Xonti, playing music from, and talking about his latest album uGaba, The Migration which just dropped last week.
