Percussionist and Drummers Inc. host Sarathy Korwar explores the various facets of the Dubai music scene with prominent local musicians, producers, labels and more.

This show was recorded during his 10 week residence in 2017 with the British Council x PRS Foundation.

This episode’s guests include Shadi Megallaa, founder of independent record shop The Flip Side and DXB music heads 264 cru, Karim Sultan and Alex Tombrink, playing music featuring homegrown/Dubai-based talent.

To end the show, Sarathy Korwar and Karim Sultan perform a live set of improvised music on tabla, oud and electronics.
