We mark Bob Moog’s birthday with Synth City, a day of celebration of synthesised music.

In collaboration Teder.fm (Tel Aviv) and Dublab, (LA) we take the baton with a two hour broadcast, hosted by our resident DJ Esa Williams, featuring some of our most treasured wielders of the synthesiser and authorities on synthesised music.

Lapalux

Lapalux is a Brainfeeder signee and one of the stars of the most recent wave of DIY electronic music. His vocals and production, a unique take on RnB tinged electronica, have marked him as miles ahead in style and ability.

Trevor Jackson

Trevor Jackson has been connecting audio and visual culture for the last 20 years as a DJ, producer as Playgroup, art director, record sleeve designer and through running Output Recordings.

Caro

Caro is a producer and electronic music educator, and runs Delia Derbyshire Day, a celebration of the UK electronic music pioneer.

Yumiko Ohno

Yumiko Ohno’s main project is Buffalo Daughter, a Japanese alternative rock band and also plays with Jeff Mills for his electric jazz fusion unit Spiral Deluxe. Yumiko offers up a Moog session with zAk, one of the prominent sound engineers in Japan.
