This show takes on the recent scandal around the Windrush Generation. Paul welcomes founding member of the Jazz Warriors, Cleveland Watkiss, to reflect on the musical foundations of the nation. Expect a revealing journey that kicks off with in the hi-life experiments of Ambrose Adeyoka Campbell and the free jazz of Joe Harriott. Also popping into the studio is non-conformist Lausanne based DJ/producer Alex Attias, in London to launch his ‘LillyGood Party!’ album, an eclectic mix of rare Japanese disco gems, spiritual jazz, boogie and bruk-beat.
