We continue our weekly shows from the heart of Los Angeles. Artform Radio is a storefront radio excursion, a diverse journey into forward thinking music, culture and ideas and a series of live broadcasts that will take place every Thursday from 12 PM to 8 PM (PST) / 8 PM to 4 AM (GMT), coming to you from The Artform Studio in Los Angeles via Worldwide FM.

This week, Sonrisita is joined by Panama 45s, an Instagram archive of records featuring Panamanian musicians on Panamanian record labels throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Featuring an array of different sounds (from soul to calypso to cumbia tipica), the feed is a homage and a celebration to the musical diversity and culture of the Isthmus, as well as a source to centralise as much information and stories as possible of the musicians/producers/contributors that created Panama’s unique and eclectic universe of sound. The feed is curated and researched by Diego Varela, Jaime Ortiz and Jesús Iñiguez.
