This week (April 4th) she welcomes trumpeter and composer Josef Leimberg and his Astral Progressions band to Red Gate Recorders for a live set and exploration of his influences. Leimberg is a part of the burgeoning LA movement that’s creating new standards in the exploration of jazz and fusion, and his current release Astral Progressions (World Galaxy) is just the beginning.
