28.02.19DJ and music journalist Papaoul (aka Gabriel Francis) is in the studio exploring some new sounds from and inspired by Latin America. Expect everything from downtempo folktronica to future baile.
This month he’s joined by Italian multi-instrumentalist and producer Populous for a guest mix. Populous has been experimenting with global sounds for close to 20 years now and his latest album Azulejos was inspired by his time in Lisbon and takes in a huge range of influences, from South American Cumbia & Andean Folklore, to Caribbean rhythms, Angolan Kuduro and South African Gqom. We’ll also be hearing from some of the team behind Argentinian label Fértil Discos about their new project El Camino De Leda.
