Piano Day takes place on the 88th day of the year because of the number of keys on the instrument being celebrated. In 2021, this day falls on the 29th of March. Worldwide FM celebrates the beauty of the magnificent instrument and the development of its music with six talented pianists from around the world.

Hinako Omori is a producer and musician from Yokohama, currently based in London. Some of the artists Hinako has worked and toured with recently include EOB (Ed O’Brien), Georgia, Kae Tempest, Sophie Hunger, James Bay and KT Tunstall.

“I’m very happy to share with you an hour of magical piano-infused musical influences from my favourite artists, and some of my family’s treasured piano tracks that were played throughout my childhood, which have been a huge inspiration for me.”
