Born in London, made in India, NAYANA IZ combines her two worlds of Indian heritage and love for hiphop in this Worldwide FM special.

“I will be playing the songs my parents played me on the way to school, at yard and on the radio. Those songs I would dance to watching Bollywood films. Alongside some hiphop – the first place I felt comfortable as a composer to express myself. The Indian music I will be playing signifies the beginning of music to me, the first things I listened to from childhood. The hip hop signifies the beginning of music for me as a writer and performer.”
