This month’s instalment, Midnight Blues, sonically tells a story of Soul music by weaving a current of emotive improvisation. This session was recorded in Chicago the night before Ron embarked on a pilgrimage to play in the birth place of “Prince”. It was completed the day after Ron’s debut headline at Prince’s celebration of life party that was held at the legendary First Avenue & 7th Entry. In this time we remember the magic of a king that once touched this earth and continues to touch our souls with his sound, Prince Nelson Rogers.
