Rocco Pandiani (founder of Right Tempo Records) and Painè Cuadrelli (Compl8 Produzioni) present Mono Jazz, two hours centred on jazz from the 1950s to the present day. Guests: Gino Scrimizzi and  Massimiliano “Jazzcat” Conti.

Produced and recorded at Compl8 HQ in Milano, Italy.

Rocco Pandiani is the founder of Right Tempo, Easy Tempo and Temposphere record labels. Based in Milan, Italy, he produced records and music projects by musicians like Piero Umiliani, Piero Piccioni, The Cinematic Orchestra, Amon Tobin, Gak Sato. Claudio Coccoluto and many more. He organises club nights and music festivals in Italy and Europe

Painé Cuadrelli is a DJ, music producer and sound designer from Milan. Italy. As a DJ he played records all over Europe, in the US, Canada and Argentina. He produces music as Painé, and is part of the bands I Maniaci Dei Dischi, Soslo, and GaMaPaWa. Painé composes original music for films, theatre, dance, and sound design for immersive and interactive installations.

Massimiliano Conti (from Pescara, Italy) a.k.a. Jazzcat is a true passionate music lover. After spending many years DJing in local radio stations and clubs, in 2010 Massimiliano joined the music platform Mixcloud where nowadays he’s very active as Jazzcat (spinning the very best in classic and modern Jazz, Soul, Funk, Latin, Afro and Brazilian music). During this time he has had the chance to collaborate with DJs, Artists, Record Labels, Festivals and Radio Stations around the globe.

Gino Scrimizzi was born in Sicily. In the early ’60s he moved to Milan, where he attended University and later dedicated himself to a life of social and political commitment as union leader. Now, beside his social commitment and his passion for jazz music, he is cultivating a passion for writing. His latest books are “La magia del blues” and “I love you madly”.
