Detroit’s ‘First Lady of Wax’ DJ Minx, has focused her energy on creating platforms for other female artists via her own collective, Women On Wax. She has been DJing for almost three decades, maintaining residencies on Detroit’s WGPR, Red Bull Radio and more. Minx was named one of the “20 Women Who Shaped the History of Dance Music” by Mixmag and one of the “Best house music DJs of all time” by TimeOut New York.
