Almaty is a Swedish producer and DJ currently based in Copenhagen/Berlin. As an outsider teen in music school, she found her interest in electronic music by rummaging the CD collection of her local library and seeking out weird corners of pre-youtube internet.
She has had releases on Violets Portuguese imprint Naive and her latest release “Sonic Signature” explores the realms of flawlessly combined inventiveness and attention to detail for breakbeats, estate melodics, and bass lines. A true one to watch, Almaty steps up for the next hour with a killer selection.
