International Tribe is a weekly mix series hosted by Thris Tian.

This week’s International Tribe mix comes from A Sagittariun. 

A Sagittariun first arrived in 2011, with the aim to release musical dispatches from the frontline of the constellations. Taking deep influences from three decades in the music scene, he focuses on the darker side of the electronic musical spectrum, featuring influences from classic techno cuts, and raw uncompromising electronic music.

Over his time he has indulged in astrological techno, spiritual house music, bass-heavy dub rhythms and ambient paths, culminating in two full length albums. He has also had releases on labels such as Idle Hands, Hypercolour, Secretsundaze and his two full LP’s on the Elastic Dreams label.  A third album, ‘Return To Telepathic Heights’, is to be released on Gerd Janson’s Running Back Incantations label in June.

For his International Tribe mix he states “This mix for Worldwide FM let’s me take techno beyond the dance floor and present a mix of heady, transcendental and rhythmic electronic music that touches on jazz and tribal roots, combining techno visionaries such as Jeff Mills and Richie Hawtin alongside the exciting new breed of artists like Forest Drive West and Via Maris.”
