09.04.19Frank McWeeny is a French / English radio presenter, producer and club DJ known as French Toast. With an appetite for travel and a fascination for the burgeoning underground scene in Asia, he has spent the last five years discovering exciting pockets of dance music culture around the continent. In this documentary he takes us on tour across India, playing in six cities and meeting the people responsible for making dancefloors move.
Mixing with the DJs, producers, promoters, agents and visiting an online community radio station, Frank gives a personal insight into the colourful Indian electronic sound, the country’s vibrant dance music scene and the challenges faced by its protagonists today.
