Dave Okumu is a London-based singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist, best known for fronting the band The Invisible.

On this two hour show, his theme is “The River Knows”. The concept originates from a live performance produced and conceived by Glenn Max for the closing/headline of 2019 Turning Tide Festival on Greenwich Peninsula. The live show featured Eska, Rosie Lowe, Beth Orton, Sam Amidon, Gruf Rhys, Andreya Triana, Kwabs, Nilufer Yanya, Olivia Chaney, The Roundhouse Choir, Jason Yarde and Lucinda Chua and more, with Dave Okumu in the musical director/guitar chair.

This show looks back at that experience and many of the selections are songs which they performed, arranged by Dave Okumu along with some of his demos and some snippets of rehearsal recordings and Glenn Max has kindly contributed a message from NY, reflecting on some of the joys and challenges of putting a show like that together and where the idea originated for him.
