Cavendish Music: Mr Thing, Chris Read and Arun Sethi
29.01.18This show is hosted by Mr Thing and Chris Read of BBE, and will be joined by Arun Sethi of the Cavendish Music Libary. They will be playing hidden gems from library archives – commercially unreleased records from TV, film and radio.
Cavendish Music is the largest independent Production Music publisher in the UK – and has one of the best library music archives in the country.
Mr Thing and Chris Read were first invited to examine the contents of the Cavendish Music archives of commercially unreleased and rare library records in 2014 as part of WhoSampled’s ‘Samplethon’ event and the pair also discovered a host of 70s library music which has not only stood the test of time, but deserves to be heard in its original form. The created a compliation album of their favourite tracks, The Library Archives , which was recently released on BBE.
