This month, hosts James and Josh sit down with two of Liverpool’s most celebrated musical figures; electronic music producer ASOK and Constellations’ Rebecca Wild.
ASOK is a Liverpool-based producer who has released on Lobster Theremin, MoS and Mistress Recordings. His DJ sets have taken him across Europe, from Berlin’s fabled Panorama Bar to Liverpool’s fiery 24 Kitchen Street.
Captain of the ship at Liverpool venue Constellations, Rebecca Wild has a keen understanding of the city’s musical ecology. She relentlessly campaigns for the safeguarding of musical spaces across the city and is passionate about creating euphoric dance floor moments.
The minds behind Melodic Distraction Radio, Josh and James are never found too far away from their Baltic Triangle based studio. Native Scousers they ain’t, but their passion and adoration for the city of Liverpool always shines through!
