Alabaster introduces musicians from different backgrounds to play together for the first time, and develop material live on-air.
On this month’s show, he is joined by Giulia Cavallini, who quit piano lessons when she was twelve. She recently realised, though, that she can simply “decide what the right notes are” – she has discovered that she can play piano, and compose music. A regular at events at the Total Refreshment Centre, she is a spirit with a deeply rare abundance, and it is my honour to be her accompanist on this magical live session, that shares her discovery of an ability to create beautiful music.
