To celebrate Italian week, SofaTalk steps up for a special New Music Worldwide.
SofaTalk is the one man project of Italian based producer Piero Paolinelli. His music is influenced by the likes of Herbie Hancock’s Fender Rhodes technique, the post-disco sound of Arthur Russell and the Brazilian Jazz/Funk sound of Azymuth.
Combining these flavors, the Italian producer has had releases on labels such as Disco Soul Records, Tusk Wax, Banoffee Pies… just to name a few. He also runs the label Cognitiva Records, which has most recently released the music of DJ Rou & Lite Orkestra and has a forthcoming release on Omena Records, which will be out in September.
