This week’s International Tribe mix comes from Kittin (formally known as Miss Kittin).
For decades, Kittin has pioneered the sound of electroclash. Singles such as “1982” and “Frank Sinatra” with The Hacker lead her on to cement herself as an acclaimed international DJ. Throughout her expansive career, Kittin has carved a considerable niche for herself, taking references from the sounds of New Wave and 90s techno to form an inimitable style that resonates with electronic music fans the world over.
With releases on wSphere, EMI, Novamute and many more, her eclectic production style of electronic music has continued to push the boundaries. Kittin most recently released her album Cosmos, her most spiritual release yet, which takes influence from her time in the French countryside after a bout of touring exhaustion.
