International Tribe: Al Zanders

This week’s International Tribe mix comes from London based Al Zanders.
He is known for his various releases on Phonica Records, Blind Jacks Journey and being the first signee to Roy Davis Jr’s label in almost 20 years. He began producing under the alias Lodger, which first put his name on the map and since 2016 Zanders has operated the A-Z Records label, introducing Sheffield band Hot Diamond Aces, West London native Sheyi and most recently a split EP with the producer JVXTA.
As well as production, Zanders has over the years cemented his reputation as an eclectic and reliable DJ, with a varied and openminded approach to selection. For his International Tribe mix, Alex selects “A collection of some of my favourite tracks, ranging from old to new, from across the globe. I’ve included two new”tracks from my recent EP with JVXTA, which came out last week.
