In Portuguese, “saudade” is a profound emotional state often described as the love that remains after someone has gone. It’s this feeling that the Rio de Janeiro based – Chilean producer Valentina Montalvo Alé a.k.a. Valesuchi taps into with her evocative productions and DJ sets. Her dark, smoky dancefloor detonators brim with love, desire, machines and danger, and they yearn for a time when club music was raw and indebted to the rhythm.
Ruf Dug
The producer, DJ, label boss, radio host, and record store owner Ruf Dug should need little introduction to those on the scene. Between his residencies at Pikes, Gottwood and NTS radio the Manchester-via-Ibiza computer game freak and renowned vinyl digger has found time to meld his wide range of influences in the studio, spanning balearica, street soul, 16-bit and everything in between.
