DJ Gilla is joined by Children of Zeus ahead of the release of their debut album Travel Light out July 2018 on First Word Records. The Mancunian duo of Tyler Daley and Konny Kon perform live as well as selecting tracks showcasing their influences and musical contemporaries from the Manchester scene. Expect hip hop, soul, jazz and all points in between.

Children of Zeus

Children Of Zeus consists of Mancunian duo Tyler Daley and Konny Kon. They met in 2005 whilst on tour in Paris, and connected over a shared love of the soul, hip hop and reggae records they both grew up on, through their parents’ record collections and Manchester’s pirate radio stations. In early 2016 they released their debut 7” ‘Still Standing’ on First Word Records, with their follow up ‘I Can’t Wait’ a year later. At the end of 2017 their compilation EP ‘The Story So Far…’ continued the groups upward trajectory alongside their increasing prowess and popularity as a live act. 2018 sees their debut Long Player ‘Travel Light’ unleashed on the public.
